SNICKERS® —as it sits— is a leader in snacking and memorable campaigns. The iconic “you’re not yourself when you’re hungry” campaigns, featuring disgruntled or diva like celebs has driven SNICKERS® into its own space. “Treating yourself” as a means to get back to your true self.

The challenge we had is how do we build upon these iconic campaigns to create short form commercials that reach our audiences.

We sought to bring the core MAYBE YOU JUST NEED A SNICKERS® campaign to life in a way that resonates with Black American males yet has broad appeal. Communicating product and taste appeal in dynamic storytelling.

“He needs some milk” translated in to : Get that man a SNICKERS®.


The solution:

Tap into the day to day life of the community. Taking mundane yet high stakes activities and remedying an “out of sorts moment” with the hunger satisfying power of SNICKERS®.
